I read with interest and found that many Singaporeans put it too many hours at work. After that, they are too tired and have no time to date or find someone to go dating with. The workplace does not help either, where bossess expect employees to clock many face hours including OT on weekdays and weekends. This no brainer leads to lower marriages, to lower birth rates and obviously a shrinking Singaporean population where foreigners need to be called in to boost up the birth rates. Unfortunately, the foreigners are also very practical and knowing Singapore is the most expensive place to live in does not heed the advice thrown at them.
Actually, it boils down to your own choice, do you want money to spend on yourself only or would you risk sacrificing work performance to look for your soul mate? If I were you, I definitely choose the latter as I have now and enjoy the company of my own family.

Guys, great stats to boost your dating confidence
Hi guys,
I came across this stats from Yahoo "For every 1000 women in Singapore, there are only 965 men". What does that mean? Your chance of landing a date is much greater or your chance of a SG girl liking you is much higher. Your odds compared to guys in mainland China are better, since there are more China men compared to women. The stats maybe great, you still need to put in effort to woo the girl of your dream and get youeself educated about the dating "game".

Would you date a woman smarter than you?
As the title goes, will you be brave enough to date a woman more intelligent than you?
Most man interviewed said that they would, however when it came to the real thing, men gave them a miss.
In Singapore, this is going to be the case where more women attains higher educational qualification and climb the corporate ladder higher. Women are starting to head multi-national corporations, leaving their male counterparts behind.
What do you think are the pro and cons of dating a woman smarter than you and are you ready for this eventual change? Share with us by leaving your comments after this post.

Chinese model and actress praises Singaporean men
Hi folks,
You need not blink your eye to look at the title again.
Yes, a refreshing experience to note that Singaporean men are still highly sought after by women.
It is a consolation that women from neighbouring countries still fancy our local guys.
See what model Gan Lulu, of Beijing China, she has to say here: http://sg.entertainment.yahoo.com/news/model-gan-lulu-praises-singaporean-men-064000523.html
I have seldom seen a Singaporean girl praise a Singaporean guy these days. All I hear are complaints and why Caucasian men are better.
There are areas which you have to know to impress Singaporean girls. It is not rocket science and these can be mastered.

Local men marrying foreign brides really on the rise?
Hi folks,
Glad to be back posting again on this interesting topic of dating and marriage in Singapore.
Recently, I went to the polyclinic to get a referral letter for ezyma, due to sensitive skin. Its nothing serious though. As usual, there are many people waiting to see the doctors.
The process went well and I got some prescription. Whilst waiting for my prescription, I stood at the back since there were no seats. I noticed something worth discussing.
Couple #1 - Wife was carrying their baby, spoke Chinese and I recognise the accent was from Mainland China. Husband is a local Singaporean Chinese.
Couple #2 - Wife was seated with their child who was sitting in a pram, when she spoke to her friend, it sounded like Vietnamese. Husband is a local Singaporean Chinese.
What is common here?
It is evident that more local Singaporean men are marrying foreign brides from our neighbouring countries.
As Singaporean women becomes more highly educated, and focus on career early on, it will be more difficult to date and subsequently marry them. Worst of all, they have a bad impression for local men. Why the change in attitude?
I faced the same issues years ago and how did I make a break-through with them? There are certain solutions you must take to succeed.
If you are facing these same difficulties, share with us in this blog or send a private email. We can help you.

Marriage stats you must know!
Hi everyone,
Two weeks ago, I came across my local newspapers called the "Sunday Times", an article called "More mixed unions and remarriages". In it spells out the current trend of marriages.
If you are a Singaporean guy looking to marry a Singaporean Chinese girl who is younger than you, it is going to be tough luck and the odds are stacked against you.
Fret not, I have come up with two guide books "Nail Your First Date" and "Nail Your First Relationship" so that you can gain knowledge and use them to your advantage to beat the odds. Check them out now.

Singaporean girls makes the first move on guys?
Hi,
I came across this interesting Yahoo! article that Singaporean girls are more daring today and not afraid to make the first move towards guys. Yahoo! interviwed a few girls in tertiary institutions stated that with gender equality, they are willing to take a chance in revealing how they feel for the guy they are interested in, as life is short. They need not wait such a long time for the guy to make up his mind to ask her out. While other girls are alittle more careful by giving signs to the guy to make the first move in dating them. This is a good chance for passive and shy guys who are afraid of rejections to be approached by girls who are interested in them and won't be left out in the dating scene.
